You can find direct low-cost flights (with Wizzair) to Ohrid airport from some airports in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, UK and Sweden. But there are also daily low-cost flights from almost all European airports to Tirana and Skopje that distant around 2,5 hours by car from Ohrid.

There are five airports that we consider good option for you:
1. Ohrid Airport (OHD)
2. Skopje Airport (SKP) – car transport to Ohrid = 2,5 hours
3. Tirana Airport (TIA) – car transport to Ohrid = 2,5 hours
4. Prishtina Airport (PRN) – car transport to Ohrid = 4 hours
5. Thessaloniki Airport (SKG) – car transport to Ohrid = 4 hours
Here are some details about each:
1. OHRID AIRPORT (OHD) is 20 minutes car ride from the hotel Inex Gorica. It’s a small tourist airport which works mostly during the season. Our encuentro takes place during the tourist season, so you can still find flights to Ohrid.

Taxi to our hotel is around 5 euros.
2. SKOPJE AIRPORT (SKP) is the biggest airport in Macedonia and, after complete rebuilding, has almost tripled the traffic in last few years.
Almost all big airlines operate to Skopje.
3. TIRANA AIRPORT (TIA) is geographically the closest airport to Ohrid and we can find you direct transport from the airport to Ohrid – so you can consider that as a great option if you find good flight.
Almost all big airlines travel to and from Tirana.
4. PRISHTINA AIRPORT (PRN) is the only airport in Kosovo which is not more than one hour drive to Skopje. We recommend this option as an alternative to Skopje Airport – if you are able to find good flights for you.
Most of the big international airlines operate to/from Prishtina – so it can be good option to check.
5. THESSALONIKI AIRPORT (SKG) is the biggest international airport in North Greece and is around 4 hours car drive from Ohrid. It is a nice alternative to other options offered here.
The airport is mostly used for the domestic flights in Greece, but there are international flights as well.
Transfers

We’ll have transfers from Tirana and Skopje airport to Ohrid and back organized by professional company and according to the needs of the participants.
The PUPE transfer company will gather as many people as possible around the same time and bring you in a comfortable way to Ohrid, based on your flight times.
The price for the transfer from Tirana and Skopje airport to Ohrid is 25€ one way. You just have to send the email with the flight information to PUPE transfer company’s mail address and everything will be taken care off. We will soon publish more info on how to arrange this transfer.
